A tilstandsrapport is a technical inspection of a property under the Norwegian regulations on safer property sales (forskrift til avhendingslova). The report describes the condition of all building elements using grades from TG0 (no defects) to TG3 (serious defects). It is effectively mandatory under Norwegian property sale legislation.
A typical inspection takes between two and four hours, depending on the size and age of the property. The finished report is delivered within five working days.
