About CR Takst

CR Takst AS is an independent building survey and consultancy firm based in Asker, just outside Oslo. The company is run by Christian Røyter, a master carpenter and certified building surveyor with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry.

Background

Christian began his career as a carpenter and has worked on everything from new builds to the renovation of older properties. After completing his trade certificate and master craftsman qualification, he went on to train as a building surveyor.

This combination of hands-on trade experience and formal surveying expertise gives a thorough understanding of how buildings are constructed, what can go wrong and what it costs to put right.

CR Takst is a fully independent firm. All assessments are based on professional judgement, current standards and what is actually observed during the inspection. You are the client, and the report is yours.

This independence means you can trust that the report accurately reflects the actual condition of the property.

Memberships and accreditations

Christian is a member of Norsk Takst and NITO. Norsk Takst is the Norwegian professional body for building surveyors, setting requirements for competence, ethics and quality assurance. NITO is Norway's largest professional organisation for engineers and technologists.
