What personal data do we collect?
Contact form
When you submit an enquiry via the contact form, we store your name, telephone number, email address, selected service and message text. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: Consent (checkbox in the form).
Price enquiry
When you submit a price enquiry via the price calculator, we store your name, telephone number or email address, selected service, property type, floor area and estimated price. This information is used to provide you with an accurate quotation. Legal basis: Consent (checkbox in the form).
Booking
When you book an inspection via Cal.com, we record your name, email, telephone number, address, property type and description. This information is used to carry out the agreed engagement. Legal basis: Contract.
Newsletter
When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time. Legal basis: Consent.
Preparation form for condition report
When you complete the digital preparation form before an inspection, your answers are stored temporarily in your browser (localStorage) so you can resume later. This data does not leave your device until you submit the form. You can clear your saved answers at any time using the "Clear saved answers" button in the form.
When you submit the form, a PDF is generated and sent to post@crtakst.no as an attachment so we can prepare the engagement. Email delivery is performed via Resend. The PDF is accessible only to CR Takst and is deleted along with the rest of the engagement material after the engagement is complete, no later than 24 months. Legal basis: Contract (preparation of engagement).
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the website. Microsoft Clarity provides anonymised insight into clicks, scroll and technical friction points. Both are governed by the same analytics consent in the cookie banner. Data processors in the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or equivalent transfer mechanisms.
Planned data processors — not yet activated
The following tools are planned for marketing and lead tracking, but are not active on crtakst.no at this time:
- Meta Pixel
- LinkedIn Insight Tag
- Google Ads
- HubSpot
These tools will not be used until the consent setup, cookie policy and this privacy policy have been updated to reflect their use, and data processing agreements are in place.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of data we no longer have a legal basis to retain
- Withdraw your consent
- Lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet)

Retention
Contact form submissions are deleted after 12 months. Booking data is deleted after the engagement is complete, no later than 24 months. Newsletter addresses are retained until you unsubscribe.
Security
The website is secured with HTTPS. Contact form submissions are transmitted via Netlify over an encrypted connection. We do not store any payment information.
