How the process works

- List your property — Use the documentation in your listing on Finn.no, Propr or other platforms.
The Norwegian Sale of Property Act protects you
Since 2022, the avhendingsloven (Sale of Property Act) requires sellers to provide a condition report in order to have full protection against buyer claims. Without a report, you as the seller take on greater risk.
The condition report documents the property's condition at the time of sale. If the buyer complains about something already described in the report, you as the seller have strong legal protection.
