Independent Building Surveyor in Oslo

Buying or selling property in Norway? An independent building survey gives you a clear picture of the property's condition before you commit. CR Takst provides unbiased assessments with no ties to estate agents or banks.

What does a building surveyor do?

A building surveyor (takstingeniør) inspects the property and documents its technical condition. In Norway, this is done through a tilstandsrapport — a standardised condition report prepared under the regulations on safer property sales. Every building component is assessed and given a condition grade from TG0 (no defects) to TG3 (serious defects).

Why choose an independent surveyor?

Many estate agents in Norway recommend their preferred surveyor. While this is convenient, it can create a conflict of interest. An independent surveyor works for you, not the agent. The report reflects what we find, nothing more and nothing less.
